Description
This is a vintage very old very worn John J. Smith bottle from Louisville, K.Y.. it probably contained either a syrup, medicine or some sort of tonic. In picture #2 you can see what looks like a crack around the top of the bottle. I did NOT notice this until I started taking pictures. It has been washed with mild dish soap and warm water and this is how it came out. It has a smooth bottom with hinged mold lines. It has a lot of bubbles in the glass. See all pictures for more details. Approximate manufacture years are 1870-1880. Very cool little piece of history. 6 1/2 tall x 2 wide at base and 3/4 wide at top. 2281-J710
