This model features a thinner 0.3mm shell than the current BB2, with 8-lug tuning and no center bead, making it a unique specification.
It was used when a bright, open sound with the thickness and core resonance of brass was needed.
The snare is equipped with CANOPUS Back Beat Snare Wires (30 strands).

Finished in black nickel, reminiscent of the 1970s Ludwig Black Beauty. This model achieves a mellower tone with more core than The Brass.
The 1.2mm thick black nickel brass shell delivers a clear attack and powerful sound.
This is a used item with some scratches and dirt, but it is in perfect working condition.
