Fashion/Costume Line: Most everyday retail necklaces (such as standard Medusa or Greca pendant chains priced in the $300 to $2,000 range) use a brass base coated with a gold-tone layer. I paid over $1,200.00 for it at the Versace store in Scottsdale Arizona. I do still have the receipt.
