Vintage Mexican Alpaca Silver Abalone Salt & Pepper Shakers with Tray

Vintage Mexican alpaca silver salt and pepper shaker set with colorful abalone shell inlay and a matching serving tray. This three-piece set includes two petite shakers with twist-lock perforated lids and a coordinating rectangular tray, all decorated with naturally iridescent abalone in shades of blue, green, lavender, pink, and silver.  Crafted from alpaca (nickel silver), this mid-century set is both functional and decorative, making it a wonderful addition to a vintage table setting or a collection of Mexican silverwork and abalone décor.  **Condition:** Good vintage condition with age-related wear throughout. The silver-tone surfaces show patina, tarnish, scratches, and surface wear consistent with use. The tray has noticeable scratching to the center, along with oxidation and wear around portions of the metal and shell borders. Natural variations in the abalone are present. Both shaker lids are intact and twist securely into place using the original peg-and-notch locking mechanism.
