RARE: Ty Beanie Baby Bongo the Monkey (Tan Tail)

This is Bongo the Monkey from the Ty Beanie Babies collection. It's the version with the Tan tail and paws. It still has the original heart tag attached with a plastic protector. In excellent condition. Oakbrook Error: The tag frequently merges the location into a single word (Oakbrook) instead of the officially correct two words (Oak Brook) Because these tan-tailed monkeys were coming out of the earliest factories, they are frequently paired with rare formatting typos on the heart and tush tags, such as missing spaces in Oak Brook Shortly after changing the name to Bongo, Ty updated the design to feature a brown tail that matched the monkey's body. This makes any Bongo with a tan tail a marker of a highly sought-after, early 3rd-generation production run.
