●DIY Replacement Parts for Roland V-Pad Sensor Cones ● Set of 4

This is a set of 4 DIY replacement parts for the cone-shaped sponge part (official name unknown: referred to as trigger cone, sensor cone, trigger foam, etc.) used on the top of the sensor for Roland V-Drums pads (such as PD-80, PD-85, PD-105, PD-125, PD-108, PD-128, etc.).

● The sponge part of electronic drum pads inevitably deteriorates, making it difficult to transmit force to the sensor effectively. This can lead to problems such as no sound output or inability to express subtle nuances. While repairs are available, they can be quite expensive, which may be a concern for many users.
If replacing just the sponge is sufficient, we decided to create a DIY solution. I am using it myself and it works without any issues.

● The size is approximately 35mm in diameter and 34mm in height, made of polyurethane foam. The bottom surface has a groove processed to prevent the sponge from lifting with the lead wire.

● To install, carefully remove the existing sponge, clean the sensor area of any adhesive residue or dust (this is an important step, as failure to clean properly will affect sensitivity), and then attach the new sponge. Finally, adjust the sensitivity on the sound module as needed.
