VTG RARE Yuet Tung YT Hand-Painted‎ Hong Kong Rooster 12" Plate Gilded Gold Rim

YT, Yuet Tung China Works, Handpainted in Hong Kong 12 inch decorative plate.   Mid-20th-century porcelain items decorated by the Yuet Tung China Works (YT), Hong Kong's first and last family-run hand-painted porcelain factory established in 1928. These vintage items, often featuring intricate, hand-painted floral, dragon, or bird designs, were commonly painted onto porcelain imported from Japan and sold between the 1960 and 1980.   This particular plate features beautiful red roosters, foilage and flowers in colorful enamel featuring thick textured paint and gilded gold rim. This is considered an authentic Hong Kong artifact and is in excellent condition.  The artists at Yuet Tung China Works specialize in Guangcai, a Qing Dynastry-era technique associated with vibrant colors and refined craftsmanship.
