Vintage 1950s Japan Dragonware Moriage Salt Pepper Shakers Dragon Boat Caddy
Vintage
Wonderful circa 1950s Japanese Dragonware salt and pepper shaker set featuring two coordinating ceramic shakers nestled inside their original boat-shaped caddy. The two square shakers are decorated with raised white moriage detailing that forms a dramatic dragon design when the pair is placed together. The dark charcoal/black luster glaze is accented with soft blue, white and metallic bronze-gold details, giving the set the wonderful dimensional look associated with vintage Japanese Dragonware. The fitted ceramic boat caddy is equally decorative, with an elongated curved silhouette, metallic accents and hand-painted detailing.
