Vtg Polish Enamelware Salt Box Blue Wall Hanging Cellar Wooden Lid Huta Silesia
Huta Silesia
60.00 $
Description
This vintage cobalt blue enamelware salt box is an authentic mid-century kitchen utility piece manufactured in Poland, likely by a historical producer such as the Huta Silesia factory. The wall-mounted container features a vibrant blue enameled metal body with a scalloped, sunburst-embossed backplate and an integrated hanging hole for secure installation near a stove. A hinged, natural wood flip-top lid covers the basin, adding a warm rustic contrast to the clean metal lines. On its underside, the item retains a crisp, distinct maker's mark consisting of a kettle silhouette containing an S logo, stamped alongside MADE IN POLAND and the production size mold number 14. Exhibiting minor cosmetic flea-bite chips along its black-trimmed edges, the piece retains its structural integrity and showcases a highly sought-after farmhouse patina that appeals directly to vintage kitchenware collectors. Please see photos for details and measurements.
