Karaki Furniture, Antique, Chrysanthemum Motif Decorative Wooden Armchair

Thank you for viewing.
We are offering a meticulously crafted wooden armchair due to a room renovation.

[Features & Appeal]
The most distinctive feature is the exquisite chrysanthemum-like floral carving (2 locations) in the center of the backrest. This detail lends elegance and a unique presence to the entire chair.

It evokes the refined straight-line beauty and careful woodworking techniques found in traditional Chinese furniture of the Ming and Qing dynasties (rosewood furniture) and Korean furniture of the Joseon Dynasty.
The material is likely a hard, beautifully grained wood such as [rosewood (likely ebony or rosewood family)], with a calm, deep hue and elegant luster.

[Product Condition]
In very good condition for an antique/vintage item, with no noticeable major scratches, chips, or wobbling.

Overall, it is in very good condition for an antique/vintage item.

There are some wood cracks in a few places. These are natural drying cracks from the natural wood and not due to subsequent impact.
The cracks do not spread even when force is applied, and there is no wobbling, so there is no problem with normal use.

There are several areas that appear to have slight paint peeling, but these are not due to subsequent damage from use, but are believed to be from the manufacturing process. They are within the range that can be enjoyed as a handmade texture.

There are some minor scratches on the seat surface, but they do not detract from the overall aesthetic and rather add to its well-used, good character.

[Addendum]
There is some slight fading (color change due to age) on the front edge of the seat.
While not very noticeable, please understand this as part of the vintage charm.
Please check the additional photos for details.

The details of the noticeable areas are compiled in the photos, so please be sure to check and be satisfied before purchasing. It has been stored with care, so there is no wobbling and it is ready to use immediately.

(※Please excuse minor scuffs and changes due to age.)
