Vintage Franciscan Desert Rose Set 4 Bread Plates 1940s-50s California

Beautiful early vintage Franciscan Desert Rose bread & butter plates, sold as a matching set of four.  These pieces are from the earlier California production era and are unmarked with the characteristic three-point firing/stilt marks on the undersides. Research commonly associates this style of early production with approximately the 1940–1955 period.  Each plate features the classic hand-decorated Desert Rose pattern with dimensional pink roses, green leaves, cream background and scalloped edge.
