Vintage Loui Michel Silver Plated 5x7 Picture Frame May Company

Vintage Loui Michel & Co. “Anniversary” silver-plated picture frame, originally sold by May Company. A beautifully made vintage frame with a substantial, highly polished silver-plated finish and classic wide-border design. The original manufacturer insert remains intact and identifies the frame as hand polished, lacquer coated and tarnish resistant. The frame itself is stamped “LOUI MICHEL E.P.” along the edge. An especially nice detail is the original May Company department-store price tag, still attached to the insert — a great piece of vintage retail provenance that helps document the frame’s age and history.
