Introduced by the luxury home decor brand, this iconic piece is famous for its distinct aesthetic and artisanal production process. The Roasted Marshmallow Pattern: When the signature pattern was first imagined in 1995, its official name was Roasted Marshmallow. Designers chose the name because the hand-painted checks feature subtle amber and gold undertones that mimic caramelized sugar. Because the original name was difficult for customers to remember, it was later renamed Courtly Check. Handcrafted Individuality: No two kettles are exactly alike. Each piece is hand-painted by artisans in Aurora, New York. The painters use a technique called color-dragging, which leaves visible, textured brushstrokes across the monochrome squares. The kettle balances a delicate, whimsical look with highly durable materials: Crafted from heavy-gauge steel for fast heat conduction and long-lasting strength.  Finished inside and out with a hard-wearing ceramic glaze. Wrapped in bronzed stainless steel along the edges and accented with traditional brass hardware.
