ScanSnap S1300/S300 Replacement Silicone Tube for Roller Repair

These are silicone tubes for replacing the feed rollers and ejection rollers of ScanSnap S300/ScanSnap S300M/ScanSnap S1300/S1300i.
Silicone tube: Inner diameter 5mm, Outer diameter 9mm, Length approx. 24mm (with some variation)
Not genuine parts.

Also available for ScanSnap S500 and ScanSnap S1500.

These are for replacing the degraded rubber rollers of your ScanSnap. There are two methods: complete disassembly or partial replacement by making a vertical cut. These tubes can be used as-is for complete disassembly, or by making a cut for partial replacement.

Method for Complete Disassembly Replacement
The process is too extensive to describe here, so please search online. There is no difference in normal use, and although it takes time, the result will be aesthetically perfect.

Method for Partial Replacement
1. Remove the feed and ejection rollers by making a vertical cut with a cutter and pulling them off. If hydrolysis has progressed significantly, you will need to remove stickiness with anhydrous ethanol and cotton swabs.
2. Make a vertical cut in the new tube and attach it to the feed and ejection roller shafts, utilizing the rotation of the power button.
Some people use adhesive, but it is not necessary. Only apply adhesive if you wish to do so.
