Description
Solid Brass Ashtray No. 101. Heavy, solid brass construction featuring intricate ornate patterns. Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic mid-century Farber Brothers NYC No. 101 solid brass ashtray. This highly collectible piece features a classic Art Deco / Hollywood Regency aesthetic, detailed with ornate floral engravings, a center torch/urn motif, and two distinct ram's head handles on the sides.Originally engineered as interlocking nesting pieces, this tray is perfect as a standalone statement piece or to complete an existing stacking set. Today, it makes an excellent vintage catchall, coin tray, or jewelry dish for a nightstand or entryway. Patina: Features a gorgeous, authentic aged vintage patina. I have left the natural oxidation intact, as many collectors prefer it, but it can be polished to a bright gold shine if desired..
