Description
Up for sale is a beautiful antique Japanese porcelain double-handled serving bowl / relish dish. The underside features the authentic green M-in-Wreath backstamp, used from 1911 to 1921 by the Morimura Brothers (the historical founders of Noritake). This piece features a vibrant, hand-painted central bouquet of pink roses accented by soft green, blue, and yellow foliage. The cream-toned rim is heavily accented with an elegant gold-gilt trim that flows into two uniquely styled open-geometric side handles. Condition: Excellent antique condition for its age. Vibrant colors, crisp paint, and no chips, cracks, or heavy crazing. Very light, age-appropriate wear on the gold gilding. Details: Authentic Japanese export porcelain. Perfect as a vanity trinket tray, candy dish, or statement accent piece!
