Lot of 2 vintage porcelain bread and butter/dessert plates crafted by Meito China in Japan. This elegant set features the classic Montrose pattern, showcasing a striking navy blue and gold geometric rim accented by delicate, colorful hand-painted floral sprays.The underside of each plate bears the authentic teal Meito China crown backstamp, reading Meito China, Made in Japan, Hand Painted. Based on the hallmark, these pieces date back to the early-to-mid 20th century (circa 1920s–1940s). Plates are 6.5” in diameter. Excellent condition.
