Leica M3 Early Model Double Stroke (1955)

(Serial number in the 730,000 range)
Serial No. 734113 - a very early production number from 1955.

Early double-stroke (DS) winding mechanism (two winding actions)
Buddha ear (Fukumimi) strap lugs

Overhauled by Umehara Camera Service, with excellent operational and optical condition.

Rangefinder has been cleaned and overhauled, with clear double images.
Shutter speeds are accurate.
Early model glass pressure plate.
No light leaks.
Rangefinder: Bright and good contrast.
Leather has been replaced.
All functions, including shutter operation, work without issue.
Operation confirmed.
No problems encountered during daily use.

The exterior is generally in beautiful condition.
Minor scuffs on the top plate and bottom plate (consistent with age).
Buddha ear (Fukumimi) strap lugs show signs of use.

The condition described above is subjective.

There are normal signs of use due to age.
