Description
Handmade Rattan Kagami Mochi (New Year's Decoration)
This is a Kagami Mochi made from woven rattan. It is a 4-piece set including a mizuhiki (decorative cord) orange and a mizuhiki decoration, along with a shihōbeni (red paper). The design is simple, just stack them up.
The mizuhiki decoration is tied to the top mochi with string.
The shihōbeni is made by layering two sheets of red and white Japanese paper.
They can be nested inside each other and all fit within the bottom mochi, allowing for compact storage.
Perfect for small spaces like entryways or niches.
Height: 18cm Width: 6.5cm
Shihōbuni size: 7cm square
*Although thoroughly dried, please note that due to the oil finish, the oil may seep out if in prolonged contact with Japanese paper (shihōbuni). Thank you for your understanding.
As this is a natural material, there may be fuzz, splinters, chips, or breaks. Also, there are individual differences in color. The appearance may also vary depending on your device. We ask for your understanding.
Please note that photography props (candles, needles, plants, etc.) are not included.
*Prices for handmade items are non-negotiable. We offer a discount on shipping for combined purchases only.
