These square chopsticks are made from thinning wood from Yoshino Cedar in Nara Prefecture. Each pair is individually wrapped with the included Japanese paper strip, making them suitable for entertaining guests. (From the packaging)

These were stored at my parents' home. If my memory serves me correctly, I believe I saw this product in stores over 10 years ago (around 13 years ago?).
