Description

These are seed yams from Tanba, delicious when grated.
I received them from a farmer but have some to spare, so I'm listing them here.
Please check the images for size and weight.
To plant, cut the seed yam into pieces of about 50-100g each. To prevent rot, either dry the cut surfaces or dust them with lime before planting. Harvest after the vines have completely withered in autumn. Grated yam over barley rice is delicious.
