Vintage knife handle. The brass ferrule and stainless steel ferrule enhance the image of the knife. The dullness can be removed by sanding with sandpaper.
New magnolia wood material.
These handles came from a knife factory that went out of business.
The size of the tang varies depending on the knife manufacturer.
These handles are for knives with tangs of the size used for Uchi-hamono (forged knives) for Nakiri and Santoku knives.
In factories, the tang is heated and inserted. If you are doing this yourself, please secure it with epoxy adhesive.
If there is any looseness, shave chopsticks or toothpicks to use as a shim and fill with adhesive.
