These are seedlings that sprouted this year from seeds harvested from our own Asakura Sansho.

With 7 saplings, this is a great value pot seedling set ?

Asakura Sansho is a thornless variety that fruits on a single plant, known for its rich aroma. Its fruits and leaves can be used to enjoy seasonal flavors. However, saplings grown from seed may experience reversion to ancestral traits.

Some may have the same characteristics as Asakura Sansho, while others may develop thorns, lose thorns as they grow, or may or may not bear fruit.
