Description
Busy Biddy Hen Novelty Vintage Marvin Glass Toy Chicken Lays Marble Eggs. Plastic hen lays five eggs and flaps wings when you push down on the back. The Busy Biddy Hen was invented by Eddy Goldfarb in 1948. Marvin Glass sold the rights to Topic Toys/Playtime Productions in Chicago to manufacture the Hen Laying Chicken in 1949. It is reported that some 14 million of these were sold in the 50s. This one only has 2 marble eggs originally there were 5. Good condition considering age, but his left foot has a broken/missing toe/web. Amazing it survived all these years. Please see all pictures.
