Nikon ED AF NIKKOR 70-300mm 1:4-5.6D Zoom Lens. Good Pre-owned Condition. Serial number 442716. Comes with a Canon rear cap and Tamron 62mm front cap The Nikon AF NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4-5.6D ED is a versatile telephoto zoom designed for Nikon's F-mount system, commonly used for sports, travel, and wildlife photography. Key Specifications * Focal Range: 70-300mm (105-450mm equivalent on DX-format cameras). * Aperture: f/4 at 70mm to f/5.6 at 300mm. * Optics: Features 13 elements in 9 groups, including one ED glass element. * Focusing: Uses a screw-drive autofocus system, meaning it relies on the camera body's internal motor to focus. * Dimensions: Approximately 2.9 x 4.6 inches and weighs about 505–515 grams. * Filter Size: 62mm. Camera Compatibility: Because this is an AF-D type lens without a built-in focus motor, its autofocus capability depends on your camera body: * Full Autofocus Support: Works on professional and mid-range Nikon DSLRs that have an internal focus motor (e.g., D70, D80, D90, D200, D300, D7000 series, and all FX-format bodies like the D750 or D850). * Manual Focus Only: It will not autofocus on entry-level Nikon DSLRs like the D3000 series (D3100, D3200, etc.) or D5000 series (D5100, D5200, etc.) because these cameras lack the necessary internal motor. * Mirrorless (Z-Series): Can be used with an FTZ adapter, but will only support manual focus as the adapter does not contain a motor for screw-drive lenses.
