Description
Add this Blue Ridge Southern Potteries Inc. 8 hand painted ceramic boot vase cataloged under the Gladys layout. This is a summertime floral style with bright and vibrant colors. What makes these vases so unique as that each piece of pottery was meticulously hand-painted under clear glaze, and because they were hand-decorated, no two items are completely identical, making each boot vase highly unique. Circa 1940's to 1950's. This vase is in very good condition. Small chips on bottom of boot (see pic). Left front toe there is a mark but I do believe this is in the glaze. Otherwise no chips, cracks or spiderweb-like lines. Please review all pictures closely. Inside the cowboy boot planter there are a few marks/stains. I have not attempted to clean the inside. Overall in excellent pre-owned condition given the age. Please reach out with any questions. Measurements are approximates: - 8Tall - 2.5 x 3 vase opening - 3.5 widest part of boot
